A trip on the Fichtelberg suspension railway to the 1215 m high Fichtelberg is an experience in every season! As a special landmark of the town of Kurort Oberwiesenthal, it is the oldest cable car in Germany. From the cabins of the suspension railway you have a fantastic view in perfect weather. The summit is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours in summer and the starting point for several ski slopes in winter.
